AeroMedical Examiners
Dr Chris King
After 30 years experience as a GP in Sussex and a keen aviation enthusiast holding a PPL himself and flying a Robin from Goodwood, Dr Chris King qualified as an AME in 1996. Now with many years of aviation medicine experience, Dr King is able to undertake medicals for CAA/EASA, FAA, Canada and Hong Kong. (HK by special arrangement with the London office).
Dr Arvinder Kurbaan
As one of London’s leading cardiologists, Dr Kurbaan is also an AME with a specialist knowledge base in aviation cardiology. Centreline being co-located with the London Heart Centre enables a fast and efficient service for any pilot needing further cardiology investigation as part of the regulatory process. Dr Kurbaan is able to undertake medicals for CAA/EASA.
Dr Sean Petherbridge
Dr Petherbridge qualified in 1997 and worked in general medicine, A&E and psychiatry before general practice. He spent 15 years in the Middle East working in urgent and pre-hospital care, and as an AME. Dr Petherbridge previously worked as a Medical Assessor at the UK CAA. He brings a wealth of aviation medicine knowledge and has a current licence to fly. Dr Petherbridge is available for CAA/EASA medicals and motor sport medicals. He also works as Chief Medical Officer for motorsport in the UAE and Medical Affairs Manager for the FIA.
Dr Ken Edgington
Dr Edgington trained at Birmingham University Medical School and then joined the Royal Army Medical Corps which led to training as an army helicopter pilot undertaking a squadron tour in Germany and then aviation medicine training. He became the senior aviation medicine consultant in the Army followed by senior positions in British Airways and then the CAA. Dr Edgington is available for CAA/EASA, FAA, Canadian and New Zealand medicals.
Dr Stuart Mitchell
Dr Mitchell joined the UK Civil Aviation Authority’s medical-certification team in 2000, earning the Diploma in Aviation Medicine. In 2002 he became head of Occupational Health for the London Fire Brigade and later regional medical director at Capita Health Solutions, before returning to the CAA to lead its Occupational Health and Aeromedical Centre . Following this he was appointed Medical Director of Qatar Airways in 2022.
Dr Ajay Kumar
Dr Kumar read medicine at Downing College, Cambridge and has special interests in minor surgery and aviation medicine. Dr Kumar is also a private pilot and flies regularly.
Dr Rory Symons
Dr Symons is an AeroMedical Examiner providing Class I and Class II medicals from the Centreline Horley clinic.
Dr David Holwell
Dr Holwell is an AeroMedical Examiner providing Class I and Class II medicals from the Centreline London clinic.
Practice Managers
Olga Mitko
Olga joined the Horley team in February 2023 as receptionist covering a wide range of administrative roles. She has 14 years experience working in various positions within the Tourism Industry.
Carlotta Tosini
Carlotta joined Centreline on June 2023. She has 15 years experience in customer care, providing exceptional service, ensuring repeat business and delivering client satisfaction. Successfully graduated from University of West London (UWL) with a first class honours degree in Psychology and Criminology.
Clinical Assistants
Hendrick Oosthuizen
Hendrick (‘HP’) joined the Centreline team in January 2025 as a Clinical Assistant. He brings with him a wealth of experience from previous professional roles and has recently undertaken his CAD testing qualification with Centreline.
Leticia Valero Rodriguez
Leticia joined the Horley team in January 2023. She was cabin crew in Spain and is a trained acupuncturist and also has worked for the NHS in various roles as a clinical assistant. She has previous experience for more than 4 years in a private hospital in Kent, assisting in cardiac procedures, pre-assessments and recovery.
Claire Devlin
Claire joined the team in April 2023 a Clinical Assistant. She was previously working in the Film Industry as an HCA, Carrying out and overseeing Covid testing. Prior to this, Claire was with British Airways based at Gatwick before moving to Eurofleet Heathrow.
Rena Williams
Rena joined Centreline in 2024 as a Clinical Assistant in the London clinic, providing expert care and support to all Centreline customers.
